“Everything about this car works very well! I love the light blue color scheme, the mini surfboard and cooler are adorable, the Mini Beetle is a great shaped car for a LEGO City, and the piece count is fantastic. I HIGHLY recommend you get this set with a purchase of $50 or... More more if you can!”
The Brick Fan
“This set will be available with purchases of $50 or more, while supplies last, from April 1-15. Designed by long-time LEGO designer, Mel Caddick, the 141 piece set looks to be another great set by her. The contents of the box include two unnumbered bags, the instructions,... More and a small sticker sheet. Overall, the LEGO Creator Mini Volkswagen Beetle (40252) is a really nice little promotional set.”

About Creator Promotional

The LEGO Creator theme consists of a variety of subthemes that revolve around sets that focus on buildings, creatures, vehicles, robots and recently more specialized sets such as botanical and even the Chinese New Year. Many of these sets have fallen under the 3-in-1 label which include instructions in a single set to provide multiple alternative models. Originally created in 2001 with a focus on larger bucket sets, the LEGO Creator theme has expanded outside just bricks to later include minifigures.

Promotional was introduced in 2001 and currently consists of 46 sets. As of today, 4278 Large Tub is the most valuable Promotional set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $94.
