LEGO 40025 New York Taxi is a Creator Promotional set released in 2012, containing 44 pieces. The set uses unique smoked glass elements and features a small interior with a steering wheel and a simulated brown seat. It’s a neat representation of a classic New York taxi and was exclusively available at LEGO stores in New York.”
 

About Creator Promotional

The LEGO Creator theme consists of a variety of subthemes that revolve around sets that focus on buildings, creatures, vehicles, robots and recently more specialized sets such as botanical and even the Chinese New Year. Many of these sets have fallen under the 3-in-1 label which include instructions in a single set to provide multiple alternative models. Originally created in 2001 with a focus on larger bucket sets, the LEGO Creator theme has expanded outside just bricks to later include minifigures.

Promotional was introduced in 2001 and currently consists of 46 sets. As of today, 4278 Large Tub is the most valuable Promotional set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $93.
