“This small LEGO Racers set may not have many play features, but it offers fun competitive action with its car-launching ramp and minifigure ejection feature. The well-painted colors, including gray, blue, and red details, add to the appeal. While simple to build, it’s great for racing and setting up competitions with other sets in the Xalax theme.”
 

About Racers Xalax

LEGO Xalax, also know as Crash 'em Racers was a Racers subtheme which was introduced in 2001 and discontinued the same year. These sets used special Xalax Figures which were not minifigure scale. The Xalax Figures were customized figures that were slightly taller then an average LEGO bricks, but still shorter than 4 plates high. Most Xalax sets included eight pieces since they were just different modifications of the same car.

Xalax was introduced in 2001 and currently consists of 16 sets. As of today, 4578 Ghost is the most valuable Xalax set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $286.
