“This small LEGO Racers set is a well-made, affordable option with a simple build and fun car-launching action. The unique pieces and cool color scheme make it a great addition to any collection, and while it doesn’t offer many play features, the ramp and minifigure ejection add excitement, especially in competitions with other sets from the Xalax theme. The included stickers add customization, and overall, it's a solid set for fans of the early LEGO Racers series.”
 

About Racers Xalax

LEGO Xalax, also know as Crash 'em Racers was a Racers subtheme which was introduced in 2001 and discontinued the same year. These sets used special Xalax Figures which were not minifigure scale. The Xalax Figures were customized figures that were slightly taller then an average LEGO bricks, but still shorter than 4 plates high. Most Xalax sets included eight pieces since they were just different modifications of the same car.

Xalax was introduced in 2001 and currently consists of 16 sets. As of today, 4578 Ghost is the most valuable Xalax set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $294.
