“The "Crash Car" from LEGO Racers was a favorite for its fun, simple design and affordability. Priced at just $3, it came with its own yellow launcher and stickers for customization. The set features about 6 pieces, including a car with a fun minifigure-ejection feature when it crashes. Though the plastic launcher is basic and held together with rubber bands, it's satisfying to slam and send the car racing. Overall, it's a great, budget-friendly set for fast-paced, crash-filled fun.”
 

About Racers Xalax

LEGO Xalax, also know as Crash 'em Racers was a Racers subtheme which was introduced in 2001 and discontinued the same year. These sets used special Xalax Figures which were not minifigure scale. The Xalax Figures were customized figures that were slightly taller then an average LEGO bricks, but still shorter than 4 plates high. Most Xalax sets included eight pieces since they were just different modifications of the same car.

Xalax was introduced in 2001 and currently consists of 16 sets. As of today, 4578 Ghost is the most valuable Xalax set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $294.
