“Well done for a 2004 set, the new Superheroes set instructions are way better yes but it was 2004 so I think that was a really good thing. Very much Exclusive/hard to find blocks in this set I did like it.”

“Not many LEGO fans may remember the Spiderman theme, and even fewer LEGO Train fans may recall 4855 Spider-Man's Train Rescue. Minifigs include Spiderman, J. Jonah Jameson, Doc Ock, and after researching, the Train Conductor. The highlight of this set, at least in my... More opinion, is the subway train car. The track assembly has six straight tracks, a slammer mechanism, and a few barriers.”

About Spider-Man

The LEGO Spider-Man / Spider-Man 2 theme from 2004 was a subtheme based on Spider-Man 2, the film starring Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker. Released under the broader LEGO Spider-Man theme, these sets recreated key scenes from the movie, featuring Spider-Man, Doctor Octopus, and other characters in action-packed builds. Notable sets included 4855 Spider-Man’s Train Rescue, which depicted the iconic battle between Spider-Man and Doc Ock on an elevated train, and 4853 Spider-Man’s Street Chase, capturing a high-speed pursuit.
