“This LEGO dump truck set is a mixed bag—while it doesn't offer much of a building experience due to the low piece count and large pre-made components, it does succeed in looking like a solid representation of a dump truck. Kids who love construction vehicles will likely enjoy the playability, with its working dump bed and two minifigures.”

LEGO City was a Town subtheme that was centered around various aspects of city life from police, fire to construction. The theme was the precursor to the City theme and ran from 1997 to 2000 and contained 37 sets.
