“I'm torn. I really wanted to like this set, and there are a few great things about it. It feels like an overpriced Joker set, and less of a Batman one. The Joker half is certainly the best part but if it can be gotten for a discount, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. At... More full price though, it's a harder sell.”

“The transfer of mid-2000's 'Batman' product line to a sub theme of 'Super Heroes' was a fantastic decision, as this has opened up many more possibilities for how our caped crusader integrates into the DC Universe. This being said of course, a Batwing and Joker helicopter has... More already been released in the past; 7782 was the first iteration of this very product.”

“This set could be based on a scene from the 1989 Batman movie where The Joker uses a helicopter as a getaway vehicle after attempting to spread laughing gas across Gotham City, but is stopped by Batman in the Batwing. Batwing Battle Over Gotham City is made up of two parts;... More Batman's Batwing and The Joker's helicopter.”

About DC Comics Super Heroes Batman

Batman is the DC Comics Super Heroes subtheme for Batman and the villains of Gotham City. Batman first had a LEGO theme of his own in 2006, and he came back in 2012 as part of the new Super Heroes line, the same year as the video game LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes. Most sets put Batman against a single villain, so over the years the whole rogues gallery has turned up, from the Joker, Two-Face and Catwoman to less common foes like Man-Bat, Killer Croc, Clayface and Ra's al Ghul.

Batman consists of 53 sets that ran from 2012 to 2027. As of today, 10937 Batman Arkham Asylum Breakout is the most valuable Batman set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $394.
