These various island plates can be added to the overall set in different combinations, which allows for plenty of customization when... More adding other LEGO Super Mario sets. To be fair the action element of the set is a little tricky to explain so check out how the expansion works in this handy video. I like that these new expansion sets continue to offer something new yet familiar enough to easily connect to past Mario sets.”

About Super Mario Expansion Set

The Super Mario Expansion sets expands on the core set, 71360 Adventures with Mario, and provides multiple game options as players will move Mario around levels that they build, collecting coins and stomping on Goombas, Koopas, and Shy Guys as they try to reach the end-of-level flagpole.

Expansion Set was introduced in 2020 and currently consists of 46 sets. As of today, 71369 Bowser's Castle Boss Battle is the most valuable Expansion Set set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $130.
