Insights

Released in 2009 and retired in 2010, Anakin's Y-wing Starfighter benefits from Clone Wars-era nostalgia and an early Ahsoka Tano minifigure variant that strengthen collector interest, and its short production run adds scarcity, while multiple later Y-wing remakes introduce some substitution-driven volatility.

“Very good rendition of the Clone Wars Y-Wing, the premiere fighter of its day. Much more complex than the current Rogue One Y-Wing, comes with Anakin, Ahsoka, and R2-D2. Pricey kit, but well worth it.”

Full review at www.amazon.com

Eurobricks

“Overall I do like the set despite its short falls. It shows the y-wing pre ep4 with all the panels in place. The other difference being that WW2 style bubble gunner seat which is a nice touch. The lack of landing gear etc really hurts this.”

Full review at www.eurobricks.com

Brickipedia

“The Y-wing is comprised of many blocky elements, which mainly comprise a SNOT technique that runs along either side of the cockpit and past the midsection to the engine joists. The cockpit, at the fore of the ship, can accommodate Anakin and a select few other Minifigures -... More it cannot accommodate a Clone Trooper. The cockpit features a small control pad with a black 1x1 tile representing a tactical display.”
