LEGO 8325 Tager is a Galidor set released in 2002, containing 18 pieces. The build depicts the character Tager as a large action figure with articulated limbs and a movable robotic eye. It includes a drill weapon assembled from several large elements, featuring a dedicated drill component and a distinct solid dark gray part. Tager’s torso is uniquely sculpted with chainmail detailing beneath the armor, giving the figure a silhouette that differs from other Galidor characters.

“Tager is a weird one for sure, only released in Europe and a VERY limited release remote parts of the USA as far as I'm aware. The set itself also has some of the rarest pieces ever made by lego, which is, well, the entire set. Tager himself was a formidable foe for Nick... More Bluetooth, and his appearance is captured quite well here in this toy. He's an outlandish alien with popping colors. Not to mention- his left eye, the camera, even moves!”

While the chainmail details and unique color scheme are visually appealing, the limited articulation in key areas like the torso and ankles hampers poseability. The drill weapon’s deep-cut design is fascinating for enthusiasts, yet overall, the set feels like it falls short of being fully functional or true to its potential.”
 

About Galidor

The Galidor was based on the CGI science fiction TV series Galidor from Fox Kids and ABC Family and was released in 2002. Production of the show was partially funded by LEGO, which produced sets to go along with the show. The sets were based on a simplified action-figure structure vaguely similar to BIONICLE. Each Galidor set contained an action figure composed of about a dozen parts, connected by standard pins and featured a "glinching" (a power held by the denizens of the Outer Dimension that enables them to switch analogous limbs with each other) limb-switching ability that formed the core mechanic of the Galidor sets.
