Insights

Limited to promotional magazine distribution, Morro is a mass-circulated Ninjago magazine gift with a named villain that attracts fan interest, and its broad initial run and high remake risk keep long-term upside constrained despite occasional short-lived trading spikes.

Set Facts

The set was attached to the cover of the LEGO NINJAGO Magazine 2025 Issue 126.
The March issue of the LEGO Ninjago Magazine includes an exclusive Morro minifigure, previously available only in the Dragonian Storm Village.
This version of Morro features a transparent arm instead of the transparent head and legs from the 2015 version.
The Morro minifigure includes a double-sided face with happy and angry expressions, as well as armor—an uncommon addition for magazine figures.
Morro is a character from LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu. He was the former Elemental Master of Wind and the first student of Sensei Wu. Morro believed he was destined to be the Green Ninja but was rejected by destiny, which led to his bitterness. After his death, he returned as a ghost and became the main antagonist in Season 5: Possession. He sought to release his master, the Preeminent, the embodiment of the Cursed Realm.

BrickEconomy Member Review

“The latest LEGO Ninjago Magazine includes an exclusive Morro minifigure, redesigned from the 2015 version with new transparent arm detailing and dual facial expressions. It also features a limited edition Kai trading card, multiple puzzles, a comic, posters, and a preview of the next issue with another exclusive minifigure. The inclusion of printed armor on the Morro figure makes this a standout release for the magazine line.”
