Castle in the Forest Reviews
Brick Fanatics
“Medieval fans will likely want to make a beeline for Daniel Van Zonneveld’s Castle of the Forest, which arguably reflects the mood of the LEGO Ideas community more than any other project in this round, given the number of Castle-themed concepts currently reaching 10,000... More votes. (The third 2020 review alone includes a whopping five different projects anchored around the dormant LEGO theme.)”
“Overall, the exterior and the walls of the castle is designed with great attention to detail. I especially like the fact that the castle is closed all around. To get to the inside of the castle, you can open the back wall of the castle. The castle consists of 3 floors, a... More basement, the first floor with the main entrance and the second floor with a table and a small balcony.”

About BrickLink Designer Program
The BrickLink Designer Program lets fans design a set in BrickLink Studio and have it made by LEGO if enough people order it in advance. This subtheme holds the sets of the 2021 round, which came after a first trial in 2019. Each chosen design opened for pre-orders and was produced only if it reached its target, with a cap on the number of copies made.
Designer Program consists of 15 sets that ran from 2021 to 2022. As of today,
910008 Modular Construction Site is the most valuable Designer Program set with an estimated new/sealed value of $979.

Welcome back to the middle ages with this project "the Castle in the Forest".
I'm very proud to present to you this beautiful forestmen castle. This model has almost 2000 parts and is build in three sections. Each part is inspired by one of the forestmen sets from the 90s.
The model has a lot of play features : it has a gate door that opens, a secret escape passage through a fake fire place, there is a trapdoor. Many parts open up to allow you to get inside.
There many details inside : a bed, tables, a cooking place, many candles and lots of extra weapons to defend your castle !
The model has 6 minifigures : 3 forestmen, 1 peasant and 2 black falcon knights.
There are also some animals included : an owl, a horse, a bird and a frog.
This model will come with some stickers. One of the stickers is placed inside the castle and it represents a painting of a forestmen with his bow. This is an homage to my first and favourite forestmen minifigure. On his face I added a small...
