“Ideas submissions often have a caveat. Either they are rather similar to an existing set or the LEGO group was already developing the idea. The 1950's Diner is such a set as one can find many similarities with #10260 Downtown Diner. This turned out to be a pretty good set.... More The building experience is not difficult and mostly quite straightforward with no complicated sections.”

“The 50s Retro Diner LEGO set is a harmonious blend of nostalgia and intricate detailing, making it an ideal addition to any LEGO collection. Comprising approximately 900 pieces, this playable display set encapsulates the elegance of a classic diner, featuring a jukebox, a... More detailed kitchen, retro-style furniture, and a mini gas pump. The rooftop flaunts a 3D burger and fries sign, adding to the set's unique charm. Additionally, it includes a stylish pink automobile, the epitome of 50's cool. The set, though reminiscent of the past, effortlessly integrates into modern LEGO world themes.”

The classic 50s style retro diner is recreated in detail as a playable display set! The idea was to create a diner with the classy build quality of the modular building series, but keeping the set small enough to be affordable.

The diner itself consists of around 900 pieces, is packed with as much details as possible, and includes lots of iconic features. This includes a jukebox, small but detailed kitchen, retro styled stools tables and chairs, a mini gas pump outside, a classic oversize sign complete with a 3D burger and fries on the roof, plus lots of other little details if you look closely! Topping it off is the stylish pink automobile, the ultimate symbol of 50's cool!

I hope the set will have a wide appeal as it can fit into anybody's LEGO world if they have the period modulars or a more modern style. There is a great balance between playability and display appeal so it's perfect for all ages!
