Insights

Released earlier in the Mindstorms line and now retired, Exploration Mars draws on early programmable robotics heritage and aging rubber elements that make sealed examples comparatively scarce, and nostalgia-driven demand among STEM collectors is present but niche scope and condition sensitivity limit wider liquidity.

BrickEconomy Member Review

“The LEGO RIS Exploration Mars Expansion Set offers an immersive experience where you design, build, and operate Mars exploration equipment like landers and rovers. The step-by-step missions challenge users to create realistic features, including passive suspension on rovers, sensor integration, and even navigating via light beacons. Although some controls can be finicky, the set provides a highly engaging way to simulate space exploration.”
