LEGO DS2024-1 The Magic of Play is an Exclusive LEGO Internal set released in 2024, containing 113 pieces and 4 minifigures. Limited to 500 copies, it was distributed exclusively to LEGO designers at the October 2024 LEGO Design Seminar and was not sold at retail. The build takes inspiration from the 1993 Castle set 6020 Magic Shop. Minifigures depict Sensei Wu as Majisto, Mrs. Castillo as Willa the Witch, Johnny Thunder as a Forestman bard, and a Cyber Drone Robot as a Black Falcon knight. It includes two exclusive torso prints, a blue wizard torso and a black variant of Mrs. Castillo’s dress, along with a printed The Magic of Play scroll tile, and it was packaged in a pillow box labeled NOT FOR SALE with digital instructions accessed via QR code. Based on current trends, this set could be valued near $3,642 within the next year.
The Magic of Play has become a rare set, as set DS2024-1 has not been seen for sale in new/good condition online or in retail for over one year. Its actual value is likely above the current estimate. The last brand new The Magic of Play was sold on eBay.

We have a Forestmen bard, sporting a green rubber cape and lute, what seems to be a robot Black Falcon Knight, AND most excitingly, Mrs Castillo from LEGO DreamZzz dressed up as Willa from Fright Knights!”
