LEGO 1220-2 1x2 Bricks is a System i Leg Supplemental set released in 1955, containing 26 pieces. It was sold only in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, and consisted of 1x2 bricks in four colors: blue, red, white, and yellow. Early versions from 1955 to 1956 used slotted hollow bricks without bottom tubes. The same basic assortment was later issued as set 221 1 x 2 Bricks in 1958, using hollow bricks without slots. Based on current trends, this set could be valued near $34 within the next year.

1x2 Bricks (1220-2) is an exceptionally old and rare LEGO set. It has not been available online or in retail stores in good/new condition for over 2 years. Due to its rarity, the estimated value in sealed condition of $32.51 may understate its true worth, assuming one can even be found for sale. About System i Leg Supplemental

Starting in the 1950s LEGO began individual parts sales, a practice that began with the Ferguson Tracktor in 1951. LEGO would supply dealers with wooden parts boxes and refill packs. These individual part sales would continue, at least in some markets, into the late 1950’s.

Supplemental consists of 68 sets that ran from 1955 to 1959. As of today, 214-4 Windows and Doors Retailer Pack is the most valuable Supplemental set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $805.
