1308 Fire Station was a 111 piece Town Pan System i Leg set released in 1957. It includes a Red HO Scale, Bedford Fire Engine. It was released again in 1958, as set 308 Fire Station and again in 1960.

It also included a printed white 1 x 8 brick sign with the words "FIRE STATION" on it. However, the printing was different based on the region the set was sold in and could also contain POMPIERS, BRANNSTASJON, POMPIERI, BRANDWEER and other translations. Based on current trends, this set could be valued near $3,921 within the next year.
Fire Station is an incredibly rare set. Set 1308-1 has not been available for sale online or in retail stores in new/good condition for over one year. Boxes in well-preserved condition are considered museum-grade collectibles, representing the very origins of LEGO. Its true market value is likely higher than the current estimate. The last brand new Fire Station was sold on eBay.

About System i Leg Town Plan

LEGO Town Plan was a theme introduced in 1958 and lasted until 1966 and was under the System i Leg (System of Play) theme. The theme was unveiled at the Nuremberg Toy Fair in February 1955. LEGO Town Plan originally consisted of the existing 700 series LEGO Mursten sets, several new HO 1:87 scale accessories, and a vinyl play mat. However, over the next several years the system was expanded with both new building sets.

Town Plan consists of 30 sets that ran from 1955 to 1959. As of today, 1306 VW Garage is the most valuable Town Plan set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $4,574.
