Set Facts
- The set includes minifigures of Fox Mulder, Dana Scully, a Grey Alien, Walter Skinner, and The Syndicate Leader.
- The set is based on the winning entry of the Build Your Nostalgia - 90s Throwback! building competition, The X-Files: The Truth Is Out There by user WetWired, and is LEGO Ideas No. 77.
- The set is a broad celebration of the show's lore with references from across its classic early seasons rather than a single episode. The upper half pays homage to the 2nd episode of Season 1, “Deep Throat” where Agent Mulder encounters a UFO, and the bottom half re-creates his cluttered office and is a treasure trove of Easter Eggs and references to the series.
- The dark forest and hovering UFO scene in the set closely mirror the Oregon woods from the pilot episode where Mulder and Scully first investigate anomalous abductions.

“The finished model is a wonderfully detailed build that fits very neatly in a corner or on a shelf. There are several different spots to place minifigures, allowing each builder to recreate the scene or display however they’d like. The level of intent and passion for the... More show that was evident in Brent’s original Ideas submission has been fully continued by the LEGO design team with this model.”
Jays Brick Blog
“The LEGO X-Files set comes with a fantastic lineup of 8 minifigures, with new characters included that weren’t in Brent Waller’s original fan submission. Lots of fan-favorites were added in, and we have 2 new molds made specifically for this set!”
