Downton Abbey Reviews
Brickset
“The absolute star of this set is the amazing designs of the thirteen unique minifigures. The impressive artwork for the female minifigure dresses along with the option that they can all be assembled as if sitting down in their dresses is amazing. I really like the attention... More to detail that has gone into the dual-molded arms and hairstyles of the Ladies of the Crawley family. The two men in the white tie formal wear to match their well-dressed partners is equally impressive.”

Brick Fanatics
“LEGO Ideas’ 81st build ultimately manages to justify its hefty price tag, with an authentic, detailed and thorough depiction of its original source material – one that deserves a home with anyone who’s spent significant time with the dramatic twists and turns in the life of... More the Crawley family and their supporting cast of hardworking servants.”
The Brothers Brick
“Based on the original fan submission from Sebastian Veselka (BRO3 on LEGO Ideas), this model features the Crawley family, their servants, and the beautiful Downton Abbey estate that was filmed at Highclere Castle in Hampshire, England. The original fan submission was... More initially placed in the LEGO Ideas Parking Lot and eventually approved for production just seven months later, and the LEGO Ideas team including designers Marina Stampoli and Jordan David Scott had the monumental task of converting this sizable submission into an official LEGO product.”

Downton Abbey currently ranks #42 out of the top most owned sets in Ideas Licensed.
About Ideas Licensed
Licensed is where LEGO Ideas sets based on films, TV series, games, music and brands are filed. Each began as a fan design that reached 10,000 supporters on the Ideas website before LEGO reviewed it, and the fan whose design is made gets a share of the sales. Licensed ideas are harder to get made, because LEGO also needs an agreement with the owner, and many popular projects have stopped at that step.
Licensed was introduced in 2012 and currently consists of 42 sets. As of today,
21348 Dungeons & Dragons Red Dragon's Tale is the most valuable Licensed set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $524.
