LEGO 3-3 Velveeta Promotional Set No 3 was a 300 piece Samsonite set released in 1967. It was an exclusive promotion from Kraft Velveeta in the United States only. The set was delivered in a plain brown mailer.

From the Samsonite USA Brochure - "This 300 piece set includes 14 wheels and 14 tires. It will make all of the wheel toys shown, plus many others. A wonderful ‘addition to any Lego collection."

It required $5.00 plus 1 Velveeta End Flap. It was also called SET NO. 3.

We have not seen set 3-3 currently for sale online or in the hundreds of retail stores in good/new condition in over 2,823 days. About Samsonite Basic Set

Samsonite was an American manufacturer of LEGO sets which introduced the very first USA LEGO catalog for Christmas of 1961. LEGO and Samsonite created a partnership to produce and sell LEGO in the US. The result was a 9-year license for exclusive North American distribution rights. Samsonite began marketing sets under the name LEGO by Samsonite in the US in 1961 and Canada in 1962.

Basic Set consists of 82 sets that ran from 1961 to 1975. As of today, 080-2 Ambassador Set is the most valuable Basic Set set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $3,067.
