“I've always liked the off-road type cars, and this one is no exception. The suspension (softer in front, harder in rear) combined with the balloon tyres makes it a very bouncy car, and lots of fun to play with :) It reminds me of the 42005 Monster Truck (it uses the same... More tyres too) but is longer and lower.”

“The Lego 42037 is also known as the Formula Off-Roader. It’s got over 494 parts, and costs over $54.99. The average building time without rest takes around one hour, at most. Each piece costs $11.13 cents, which is already quite expensive for Lego individual parts. There are... More Power Functions included in the build, but you can’t upgrade them to a higher version.”

About Technic

TECHNIC is one of The LEGO Company's main lines based on creating detailed model machines and mechanical toys with specialized beams, axles, gears and connectors and primarily designed for older children and adults. The theme was first introduced as the Expert Builder series in 1977, but was officially renamed as TECHNIC in 1984. TECHNIC is still an active theme, and is one of the longest running themes in LEGO history. While most TECHNIC sets are vehicles that use pieces to mimic real vehicles, such as engine pieces, suspension, pneumatic, and transmission pieces, the TECHNIC parts have been used by various other System themes as well as LEGO Mindstorms.
