LEGO 6012 Siege Cart is a Castle Lion Knights set released in 1986, containing 54 pieces and 2 minifigures. The main build is a black and brown wheeled ballista with a triangular yellow lion shield on the front, accompanied by a brick-built barrel. It includes two Lion Knights soldiers—an archer and a siege worker, with lion-crest torsos and three brown spear projectiles for the launcher. “A nice small set, an interesting design but somewhat lacking due to the fact that the set cannot actually fire the spears... I also like the cape and how the Crusaders can pick up the cart and move it around, but oddly enough the two spears on the side are used to stabilise... More the Ballista rather than as extra ammo.”

About Castle Lion Knights

The Lion Knights were released the same year as the Black Falcons in 1984. As with the Black Falcons, LEGO never officially named this faction for some time, although catalogues in the United States and Australia used the name Lion Knights while Canada used Lion Crest. The Lion Knights were in open conflict with the Forestmen, as shown by several catalog settings.

Lion Knights consists of 19 sets that ran from 1984 to 2014. As of today, 1584 Knight's Challenge is the most valuable Lion Knights set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $4,101.
