“Prisoner Convoy, released in 1985, is a jail cart used by the King’s men. It has one knight, a soldier, an archer, and a prisoner. This set had the first black castle wall pieces. Five horses were included, the most of any castle set.”

The wagon was pulled by a team of four horses, with a knight escort riding a fifth horse. The coachman uses a spear since horsewhips were not introduced... More until 1988 and his uniform has the crest with the crossed axes, while the archer has the lion crest.”

About Castle Lion Knights

The Lion Knights were released the same year as the Black Falcons in 1984. As with the Black Falcons, LEGO never officially named this faction for some time, although catalogues in the United States and Australia used the name Lion Knights while Canada used Lion Crest. The Lion Knights were in open conflict with the Forestmen, as shown by several catalog settings.

Lion Knights consists of 19 sets that ran from 1984 to 2014. As of today, 1584 Knight's Challenge is the most valuable Lion Knights set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $4,101.
