Jays Brick Blog
“Unlike most other LEGO promotional sets, the packaging of The United Trinity is a little peculiar – instead of coming in an exclusive designed box, it comes in a standard yellow square box. To have minifigure versions of The United Trinity to go alongside the Old Trafford... More set just feels right, considering these are the first to feature actual Manchester United players as minifigures.”

“For some reason, LEGO opted to give the minifigures plain white leg assemblies which is odd since all football players wear shorts. Even the original statues on the United Trinity podium are depicted with shorts instead of long pants. There were some promotional material... More which featured the Sir Bobby Charlton minifigure holding what appears to be a football. Originally, his hand was empty but then the image was replaced with one with him with the football, then it reverted to the original.”

About Exclusive Gift with Purchase

Gift with Purchase holds promotional sets LEGO gave away with qualifying orders at LEGO.com and LEGO Stores that are not filed under a theme of their own. Most gifts with purchase sit with the theme they belong to, so what lands here are the odd ones out, such as a buildable version of the classic 2x4 brick, made first in red and then in teal.

Gift with Purchase consists of 13 sets that ran from 2017 to 2021. As of today, 6322642 The United Trinity is the most valuable Gift with Purchase set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $112.
