“It’s all too easy to condemn 6636 along with its era, so it seems to me desirable to attempt to situate the set within its historical context and approach it on its own term. LEGO releases a new police station every two or three years and rather than design a fresh one for... More 2002 they just slapped a new number on an old design.”

“The 6636 Police Station, a re-release of 1998's 6332, may not break new ground, but it does offer some unique elements that make it stand out. The set includes rare parts, such as criminal info tiles and a nearly unique yellow mast, along with versatile black fences. The minifigures, including suited police officers and a rare female officer, add a nostalgic touch, while the modular baseplates provide flexibility in construction. Though emblematic of the juniorized era, this set remains a memorable piece from its time.”
