Insights

Released years ago and now retired, Backhoe (set 6662) is a small Town construction classic tied to early 1990s nostalgia, and sealed examples have become less common while used copies remain plentiful, limiting scarcity upside but keeping steady collector interest amid remake risk from later City construction releases.

Eurobricks

“It's definitely a great addition to a construction crew or just around town. It's a versatile machine and it looks great. It does provide a lot of playability, cause' with Lego, there's always something to build. It is quite realistic, for being of the Classic Town era.”

BrickEconomy Member Review

“This classic LEGO set from 1992 features a well-designed backhoe with functional details, including a hinged arm and a swiveling bucket that provides excellent reach for digging. The larger rear wheels and stabilizing feet add to its realistic design, and the minifigure fits snugly in the cockpit. It's a great representation of a construction vehicle from its era, complete with tools like a shovel and broom, as well as caution printed tiles.”
