“I'd recommend this set more for collectors of the classics or completionists as it's stylistically beautiful and a fairly realistic set (as far as what might be needed in a starfleet's repertoire) than for everyday play - simply because of the small part factor.”

“Articulated ground vehicle with a satellite to launch plus a small drone and a white astronaut. Yet another satellite launcher. Looks a little rickety. I like the drone and the tail piece printed with the Classic Space logo.”

About Space Classic

Classic Space began in 1978, the same year as the LEGO minifigure, and it was one of the first three themes to use it, along with Castle and Town. The astronauts came in red and white at first, with yellow, black and blue added in the 1980s, all in the same suit with the planet logo on the chest and an air tank on the back. Unlike almost every space line after it, Classic Space had no villains, only explorers with rovers, rockets, lunar bases and grey crater baseplates.

Classic consists of 90 sets that ran from 1978 to 2015. As of today, 926 Command Center is the most valuable Classic set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $4,799.
Summary
Space Classic Terrestrial Rover set 6883 was released in March 1987, retailing for $12, but has since been retired. New, unopened Terrestrial Rover sets are valued at $348, while used sets can be found for $26.
