“This set was only briefly available in the UK, which seems a shame as a lot of people probably missed out on it. Classic space reached its peak in the mid-eighties, as this set demonstrates. The model splits into three smaller models - a spacecraft, a two-man buggy and a... More ground control centre. As well as a lot of useful pieces, there is endless play possibility and limitless scope for alternative building.”

About Space Classic

The LEGO Classic Space was introduced in 1978 and was the first space theme. It features sets with peaceful space explorers with no enemies unlike other LEGO space sets. There were 5 astronaut minifigures the wore the same suites but in various colors including blue, red, white, yellow and black.

Classic consists of 90 sets that ran from 1978 to 2015. As of today, 926 Command Center is the most valuable Classic set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $4,645.
