71876 LEGO Ninjago Kai's Red Fire Dragon

LEGO 71876 Kai's Red Fire Dragon is a rumored Ninjago set due in January 2027, with an expected retail price of $19.99. It is one of 9 rumored Ninjago sets for 2027.

Forecast Model

This represents the expected annual growth (CAGR) based solely on a forecast model.
Kai's Red Fire Dragon is a small Ninjago: Dragons' Fury build built around a fully articulated red dragon for Kai, using several ball joints in the neck, tail and limbs for a lot of posing. The set packs in two minifigures, Kai and an Evil Zane from the Aerodromia faction. It also brings in the wave's story hook with two special swords that clip together into the Icon of Balance artifact.
Details are based on early reports and may change before LEGO's official announcement.
Collector and Investor Insights
Small Ninjago dragons have usually been volume retail items rather than standout aftermarket leaders, and the outlook here depends more on character and artifact appeal than on scale. The Kai dragon angle, the Evil Zane variant, and the wave-specific Icon of Balance give it some collector hooks, but comparable entry-level Ninjago creature sets have typically produced only moderate gains unless they contain a distinctly scarce figure or unusual faction tie-in.
