71889 LEGO Ninjago Earth Mech Battle Unit

LEGO 71889 Earth Mech Battle Unit is a rumored Ninjago set due in January 2027, with an expected retail price of $69.99. It is one of 9 rumored Ninjago sets for 2027.

Forecast Model

This represents the expected annual growth (CAGR) based solely on a forecast model.
Earth Mech Battle Unit is a medium-sized NINJAGO Legends mech duel built around a mech-in-a-mech nesting gimmick, with a bulky main Earth titan that opens its chest armor so a smaller mini-mech can dock inside. The big frame has full articulation and hidden projectile launchers in the arms or shoulders, with an earthy black, dark orange and gold color scheme. Minifigures include Nate and the Oni Imperator villain tied to the Oni Demon Mech.
Details are based on early reports and may change before LEGO's official announcement.
Collector and Investor Insights
Ninjago mechs have generally been one of the safer formats in the theme after retirement, especially medium-sized duel sets with a distinct mechanical hook. The nesting mech-in-a-mech design gives this set a clearer identity than a standard elemental robot, and comparable Ninjago mechs have typically held up better when the build concept is easy to remember and the villain pairing is specific to one story arc.
