71881 LEGO Ninjago Kai's Dual Pull-Back Racers

LEGO 71881 Kai's Dual Pull-Back Racers is a rumored Ninjago set due in January 2027, with an expected retail price of $69.99. It is one of 9 rumored Ninjago sets for 2027.

Forecast Model

This represents the expected annual growth (CAGR) based solely on a forecast model.
Kai's Dual Pull-Back Racers is a medium-sized double vehicle pack built around two brick-built pull-back cars, one for Kai and one for an Oni-style villain. Each racer has an integrated pull-back motor brick so you can drag them back on the floor and launch them into head-to-head crashes or jumps. Kai drives a low, red-and-gold fire dragster, while the villain gets a jagged dark racer with an Oni warrior minifigure at the wheel.
Details are based on early reports and may change before LEGO's official announcement.
Collector and Investor Insights
Ninjago vehicle sets with a distinct gimmick tend to fare better after retirement than standard shelf-fillers, and a two-car pull-back format gives this set a clearer identity than most mid-sized retail entries. The outlook looks moderate rather than top tier, supported by Kai's long-running character appeal and the unusual head-to-head action feature, but limited by broad retail availability and a format that depends more on vehicle interest than on a deep minifigure lineup.
