71877 LEGO Ninjago Jay's Transforming Jet

LEGO 71877 Jay's Transforming Jet is a rumored Ninjago set due in January 2027, with an expected retail price of $39.99. It is one of 9 rumored Ninjago sets for 2027.

Forecast Model

This represents the expected annual growth (CAGR) based solely on a forecast model.
Jay's Transforming Jet is expected to be a medium-sized NINJAGO: Dragons' Fury vehicle build built around Jay and his mirrored counterpart Evil Jay, with Nya rounding out the three minifigures. The jet has a built-in mechanical function where a single flick lever switches it from a Light Mode to a Dark Mode look. The set will also includes a small secondary vehicle as a bonus ride for Jay.
Details are based on early reports and may change before LEGO's official announcement.
Collector and Investor Insights
Mid-tier Ninjago vehicles tied to a named ninja usually deliver modest post-retirement growth, and this one has a better case than average because the transforming Light Mode to Dark Mode function gives it a format-specific hook beyond a standard jet. The stronger driver is the character mix, since Jay, Nya, and an Evil Jay variant fit the kind of exclusive roster that has historically helped smaller Ninjago sets hold collector interest once production ends.
