71887 LEGO Ninjago Oni Demon Mech

LEGO 71887 Oni Demon Mech is a rumored Ninjago set due in March 2027, with an expected retail price of $139.99. It is one of 9 rumored Ninjago sets for 2027.

Forecast Model

This represents the expected annual growth (CAGR) based solely on a forecast model.
Oni Demon Mech 71887 is rumored as a large, villain-centric build that goes hard on dark colors and Oni styling, with masks, horns, and jagged armor all over a hulking frame. At a medium size, it is expected to be the largest singular Ninjago mech by piece count so far and to sit in a Ninjago Legends sub-theme tied to an Embers and Ashes or Duskfall story. Rumors point to a March 2027 release and a link to Ivo's Ninja Dojo 71888 with an Oni Emperor, Oni Warriors, and a small ninja squad.
Details are based on early reports and may change before LEGO's official announcement.
Collector and Investor Insights
Large Ninjago mechs have typically held collector interest after retirement, and a villain-focused version at this size is less common than the usual hero-led entries. If the final set keeps the dark Oni styling and lands as the largest singular Ninjago mech by piece count, it fits the profile of a standout wave anchor that similar upper-tier Ninjago models have historically turned into steady secondary demand.
