LEGO 8505 Amazon is a Technic Slizer set released in 1999, containing 36 pieces. “The Amazon Throwbot is one of the coolest in the series, packed with plenty of detail and a unique antenna that sets it apart from the others. Its posable head and upper torso, moved by gears, add to its playability, and it even features the classic Throwbot feet! While the sword feels a bit small for the figure, the set’s overall jungle-themed design fits perfectly with the dangerous, living world it inhabits. Plus, the carrying case is a great addition.”
 

About Technic Slizer

LEGO Slizer, which was also known as Throwbots in the US and Canada, was a subtheme of TECHNIC that launched in 1999 and replaced by Robo Riders in 2000. The Slizer sets came with two discs that can be thrown using a special flinger arm.

Slizer consists of 14 sets that ran from 1999 to 2000. As of today, 8520 Millennium Slizer is the most valuable Slizer set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $135.
