To get them all, you were ensured many duplicates as well. The theme was... About Technic Slizer

LEGO Slizer, which was also known as Throwbots in the US and Canada, was a subtheme of TECHNIC that launched in 1999 and replaced by Robo Riders in 2000. The Slizer sets came with two discs that can be thrown using a special flinger arm.

Slizer consists of 14 sets that ran from 1999 to 2000. As of today, 8520 Millennium Slizer is the most valuable Slizer set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $174.
