“The Amazon Slicer set from 1999 stands out with its unique turquoise and green color scheme, making it visually appealing for fans of green sets. The play features, such as the gear-driven head movement and disc-throwing arm, work well, though the arm can be awkwardly posed. While the top-heaviness affects stability and the machete feels undersized, this set offers some rare recolored parts.”
BrickEconomy Member Review
“The Amazon Throwbot is one of the coolest in the series, packed with plenty of detail and a unique antenna that sets it apart from the others. Its posable head and upper torso, moved by gears, add to its playability, and it even features the classic Throwbot feet! While the sword feels a bit small for the figure, the set’s overall jungle-themed design fits perfectly with the dangerous, living world it inhabits. Plus, the carrying case is a great addition.”
