“This tennis player is my favorite dynamic female character. She is don in her lovely white sports outfit, swirling her racket back and forth in the court. She does look attractive in some manner and we could just place her outfit for other female minifigures to have a good... More workout in the gym or at the court.”

Jester Goblin
“Tennis Player is wearing an adorable little uniform of a white polo with light blue shoulders and a white tennis skirt. Her feet are white and the little strip of yellow on her knees makes it look like she’s wearing knee high socks.”

About Minifigure Series Series 3

The Minifigures Series 3 (8803) is the third series of collectable minifigures, released in January 2011 and contained 16 minifigures. The barcodes that allowed buyers to identify the contents of polybags in previous series' were removed, replaced with a system of bump codes to identify the packaging. Each minifigure has its own unique code, which helps collectors figure out what minifigure is in each bag. However, subsequent production batches turned out to feature different bump codes, rendering them unreliable.

Series 3 was introduced in 2011 and currently consists of 19 sets. As of today, Series 3 Sealed Box is the most valuable Series 3 set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $800.
Summary
Minifigure Series Series 3 Tennis Player set 8803 was released on January 14, 2011, retailing for $3, it has since been retired. New, unopened sets are valued at $8, while used sets sell around $5.

The Tennis Player trains hard to be the very best at the game, and she’s got the athletic skills to show for it. Wherever the ball goes on the court, she’s already there, ready to send it flying right back where it came from with a lightning-quick, precisely-aimed swing of her gleaming tennis racket.

And what a racket it is! Forged by a master racket-smith from the metal of a rare meteorite alloy, it’s lightweight, perfectly balanced and almost indestructible. The Tennis Player never goes anywhere without it, and she’s sure that with her lucky racket in her hand, she’ll never lose a match!
