About LEGO City Missions

LEGO City Missions sets are a new way of playing with LEGO bricks that combine physical building with digital storytelling. Each set comes with a free LEGO Builder app that guides the user through a series of interactive missions based on different themes, such as animal rescue, space exploration, or police detective. The user can customize their models and use their imagination to solve the challenges and complete the story.

The LEGO City theme is based on city life with the sets depicting city and emergency services, police, fire, airport, train, construction, and civilian services. The City theme proceeded LEGO Town which was replaced with LEGO World City in before it was rebranded as City in 2005.
