Set Facts

There was a British Weetabix cereal promotional for this set that offered the full set for about half the price, 6.25 pounds. On the back of the cereal box was a mail in order form.
In 1983 a Dutch version of the 1592 set was introduced in the Netherlands. This version was virtually identical to the earlier UK version, except for the box, instructions, and sticker sheet which had a Dutch flag and Dutch language stickers.
It was also offered as an Eaton's Department Store exclusive in Canada.
It was a promotion with Weetabix.

“The set is built upon two T-shaped road baseplates. Included with this set are several buildings, a few vehicles, some accessories, and 5 minifigures. Two cars are included, but only the truck can fit a minifigure inside of it. There are five buildings built on the plates.... More The largest the red house, connected to the Post Office.”
