Forecast Model

This represents the expected annual growth (CAGR) based solely on a forecast model.
LEGO 21372 La Catrina is an Ideas set released in 2026, containing 1,212 pieces. The model is a skeletal figurine with articulated head and arms, dressed in an elaborate outfit decorated with brick-built marigolds and printed sugar skull elements. It stands on a display base that includes more marigolds and a monarch butterfly, while you can hold the second butterfly in her hand to change the pose. The build uses specialized techniques to mimic handcrafted clay textures rather than standard costume designs. This project comes from user yop1172 and is LEGO Ideas No. 79, celebrating the Mexican Día de los Muertos. The orange marigolds traditionally guide spirits home during these celebrations.

Once retired, the expected annual growth will be close to 6% after the second year, valuing the set between $168 and $176 shortly after it is retired.

“LEGO Ideas 21372 La Catrina is the latest and greatest Day of the Dead build with over 1,200 pieces. It depicts the holiday's icon with a black dress, marigolds, monarch butterflies, and printed parts to continue the colorful aesthetic of the holiday.”

“Once built, La Catrina stands about 43 cm (16.9 in) tall, 29 cm (11.4 in) wide, and 18 cm (7.1 in) deep. This isn’t the first take on La Catrina that LEGO has released in recent years. The character first appeared back in 2021 as a BrickHeadz – exactly five years after the... More BrickHeadz release, the big buildable La Catrina now arrives as an Ideas set. In between, a minifigure was also released for the Mexican Day of the Dead, appearing in the “Build a Minifigure” lineup in 2022.”

About Ideas

The LEGO Ideas theme, which started in 2008 as an offshoot of the Japanese website Cuusoo, then known as LEGO Cuusoo, is based around a website which allows users to submit ideas for LEGO products to be turned into potential sets available commercially. If fellow users in the LEGO Ideas community upvote the project to 10,000 then LEGO Group has a committee which votes on whether to build the set and release it.
