“LEGO 40589 Pirate Ship Playground includes 168 pieces, and features a pirate ship themed slide, mock beach with palm tree and an octopus. Two children minifigures dressed as pirates are also included.”

“This latest GWP set comes in at 168 pieces and includes two children minifigures in their pirate garb. The build itself is a playful, brick-built take on a mini pirate ship as our minifigure characters will have it. Plus, it also includes a slide, a cute rotating octopus, a... More treasure chest, and a palm tree. The playfulness of this set is somehow reminiscent of what we can find from last year’s LEGO VIP exclusive gift which is the Pirate Adventure Ride (6432431) and LEGO Ideas Cosmic Cardboard Adventures (40533).”

About Gift With Purchase

LEGO Gift with Purchase (GWP) sets are exclusive sets offered by LEGO as a free promotional item when customers make qualifying purchases, either in-store or online. These sets are often available for a limited time and typically require spending a certain amount on LEGO products to receive them. Examples include seasonal sets like holiday-themed builds, limited-edition minifigures, or small versions of popular larger sets. GWP sets are highly sought after by collectors due to their exclusivity and limited availability, adding unique and often theme-specific items to their LEGO collections.

Gift With Purchase was introduced in 2018 and currently consists of 39 sets. As of today, 5008325 Dungeons & Dragons Mimic Dice Box is the most valuable Gift With Purchase set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $135.
