“Also in the microscale is a brick-built hot air balloon and a golden Nautilus submarine. All of this references Jules Verne and adds to an Easter egg-heavy build for an incredible author from France. And of course, the 351 pieced build isn't complete without the man himself... More as Jules Verne is included as an exclusive Minifigure in 40690.”

“Out of all the historical LEGO Tribute GWPs, 40690 Tribute to Jules Verne’s Book is right up there, and is quite possibly one of the finest LEGO GWPs that LEGO have ever made. It has everything you could want in a promotional LEGO set, with an engaging build filled with... More ingenious techniques, a cool minifigure, and a visually interesting model to display with.”

About Gift with Purchase

LEGO Gift with Purchase (GWP) sets are exclusive sets offered by LEGO as a free promotional item when customers make qualifying purchases, either in-store or online. These sets are often available for a limited time and typically require spending a certain amount on LEGO products to receive them. Examples include seasonal sets like holiday-themed builds, limited-edition minifigures, or small versions of popular larger sets. GWP sets are highly sought after by collectors due to their exclusivity and limited availability, adding unique and often theme-specific items to their LEGO collections.

Gift with Purchase was introduced in 2018 and currently consists of 39 sets. As of today, 5008325 Dungeons & Dragons Mimic Dice Box is the most valuable Gift with Purchase set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $135.
