Insights

A VIP gift-with-purchase promotional pack from 2023, Christmas Fun VIP Add-On Pack (40609) saw a short retail window and thus some scarcity among VIP buyers, and its common parts and lack of exclusive minifigures limit collector premiums while seasonal demand produces intermittent spikes and ongoing dilution risk.

Set Facts

The Christmas Fun VIP Add-On Pack was free with qualifying purchases by Insiders members at LEGO.com during November 2023.
It features dark green plant elements, including 6 x 5 leaves and 1 x 1 plates with three leaves.
The food accessories include a dark orange turkey body and drumsticks, a red apple, and a pie with cream filling.

Collectors

Investors

“There’s nothing like LEGO at Christmas. Vibrant, seasonal sets allow enthusiasts to bring their Yuletide dreams to life; LEGO Advent calendars sprinkle magic over the countdown, and receiving the latest models on 25th December makes it the best day of the year. LEGO’s blend... More of creativity and tradition makes it an essential part of holiday celebrations, and the new mixed Christmas Fun VIP bag offers a chance for collectors to add to their pre-existing builds with some spare elements and speciality pieces.”

“Looking inside the GWP bag, we can see enough pieces to fill a stocking, including single-piece Christmas trees, a Santa hat, a turkey, teddy bears, snowflakes, candy, musical instruments and more. There are also a few golden stars to decorate the top of your LEGO... More buildings.”

“The LEGO Christmas Fun VIP Add-On Pack 40609 is adorned with an array of holiday-themed elements, including charming snowflakes, a jolly Santa hat, and a delectable assortment of food pieces. Previously exclusive to VIP members, these delightful element packs have now found... More a new home in the LEGO Insiders program.”
