The 657-2 1:87 Mercedes Delivery Van, also known as the "Long Covered Van" or "Mercedes Refrigerated Truck," was a Classic HO 1:87 scale vehicle set released in 1964. Packaged in an open paper cardboard presentation box, it featured 16 color variations, including blue, red, yellow, and sand green. The text on the trailer varied with labels like "PHILLPS," "INTERFRIGO," or even "Animal Symbols." Later versions of the van were updated with double rear axles.

The LEGO HO 1:87 Vehicles subtheme, also referred to as LEGO small vehicles where plastic sets released in the 1950's and 1960's to compliment LEGO sets which could be used to build houses, gas stations, garages, shops and more. These vehicles sets remailed in production for almost ten years until they were replaced by LEGOLAND vehicles in the early 1970s. LEGO made the these small 1:87 scale vehicles until around 1969.
