LEGO 7-4 Velveeta Promotional Set No 7 was a Samsonite set released in 1967. It was an exclusive promotion from Kraft Velveeta in the United States only. The set was delivered in a plain brown mailer.

From the Samsonite USA Brochure - "The same injection molded case as shown in Set No. 4 exclusive of Lego parts and white parts tray. This is the ideal case to store Lego or other children’s valuables. Also to use for clothes on short trips. Tough, scratch and stain resistant body wipes clean with a damp cloth."

It required $3.75 plus 1 Velveeta End Flap. It was also called SET NO. 7.
Velveeta Promotional Set No 7 is an extremely old and very rare LEGO set. We have not seen set 7-4 currently for sale online or in the hundreds of retail stores in good/new condition in over 3,031 days. Because of the rarity of this hard to find set the current estimated value of $126.38 might actually be much lower than the true value, assuming this set can be found for sale.Because Velveeta Promotional Set No 7 is a very old set from 1967, finding it in a sealed and good condition might be difficult thus making the true value even that much higher.

About Samsonite Basic Set

Samsonite was an American manufacturer of LEGO sets which introduced the very first USA LEGO catalog for Christmas of 1961. LEGO and Samsonite created a partnership to produce and sell LEGO in the US. The result was a 9-year license for exclusive North American distribution rights. Samsonite began marketing sets under the name LEGO by Samsonite in the US in 1961 and Canada in 1962.

Basic Set consists of 82 sets that ran from 1961 to 1975. As of today, 080-2 Ambassador Set is the most valuable Basic Set set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $3,154.
