Brickset
“After a gap of three years, a new shell tanker van was released in 1986. Compared to 7816, it looks very much modernized. There are interesting details, and there is a kind of petrol winch which increases playability. This one is way better than 7816. And, it is the perfect... More add-on for 7722 and 7735.”

BrickTrains-Sets
“The Lego 7813 Shell Tanker Wagon is an attachment for the Lego train line, and addition to that, a shell endorsed set. The set includes 121 pieces, and of those 121 pieces is a minifigure. This attachment works on both 4.5 and 12 volt tracks, and has three shell tanks on the... More wagon. The wagon itself does not do anything other then for decoration, which most of these attachments are for, but it has a small string attached to a hose to pretend that your actually refueling the tank.”

About Trains 4.5V / 12V

4512V covers the LEGO trains of the 4.5 V and 12 V systems from the 1970s and 1980s. The 4.5 V trains ran on batteries carried in a wagon or tender, while the 12 V trains drew power from conductor rails laid between the running rails, fed by a transformer with a speed control. Until 1980 the track was blue, which gave these years the name of the Blue Era.

4.5V / 12V consists of 83 sets that ran from 1972 to 1986. As of today, 7750 Steam Engine with Tender is the most valuable 4.5V / 12V set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $6,368.
