LEGO 8506 Granite is a Technic Slizer set released in 1999, containing 34 pieces. The build depicts a lizard-like robot with four legs, a disc-thrower tail, and rotating pickaxe arms, and it can compress into a rectangular form for storage. Combined with 8502 Judge/Jet, 8500 Jungle/Amazon, and 8501 Energy/Electro, it can be rebuilt into the Ultrarex combi model. The Slizer line was marketed as Throw Bots in the United States, and this character was also known as Rock or Granite Slizer.

About Technic Slizer

LEGO Slizer, which was also known as Throwbots in the US and Canada, was a subtheme of TECHNIC that launched in 1999 and replaced by Robo Riders in 2000. The Slizer sets came with two discs that can be thrown using a special flinger arm.

Slizer consists of 14 sets that ran from 1999 to 2000. As of today, 8520 Millennium Slizer is the most valuable Slizer set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $135.
