LEGO 8520 Millennium Slizer is a Technic Slizer set released in 1999, containing 135 pieces. It builds a large robotic titan with a swiveling head, adjustable torso, prong-like wings, and dual disc-throwing arms. An alternate model converts it into a motorcycle with a small Slizer rider and storage for two special black-and-gold discs. “Millennium (or Millennia) is a unique Slizer set, offering two distinct builds: a towering titan and a motorbike-riding figure. The titan, though large and imposing, has an odd design with thin limbs and leftover parts, while the bike is more solid but less exciting. Special gold and high-power discs add a collectible appeal.”
 

About Technic Slizer

LEGO Slizer, which was also known as Throwbots in the US and Canada, was a subtheme of TECHNIC that launched in 1999 and replaced by Robo Riders in 2000. The Slizer sets came with two discs that can be thrown using a special flinger arm.

Slizer consists of 14 sets that ran from 1999 to 2000. As of today, 8520 Millennium Slizer is the most valuable Slizer set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $135.
