275-2 1:87 VW Van was a HO 1:87 scale vehicle set released in 1956. This versions was released only in Denmark, Norway and Sweden. In 1956 the first 1:87 scale car was produced. It was a VW Bus, and was known as 275 in northern Europe and 258 in central Europe. Lego advertising showed windows, but Lego VW buses did not have clear windows until the early 1960’s.

The VW Van came in a number of colors with usually one color on top and the other on the bottom. Some colors include Yellow/Green, Blue/White, White/Red, Red/Yellow and many more, over 25 known variations. Based on current trends, this set could be valued near $413 within the next year.

About System i Leg HO 1:87 Vehicles

The LEGO HO 1:87 Vehicles subtheme, also referred to as LEGO small vehicles where plastic sets released in the 1950's and 1960's to compliment LEGO sets which could be used to build houses, gas stations, garages, shops and more. These vehicles sets remailed in production for almost ten years until they were replaced by LEGOLAND vehicles in the early 1970s. LEGO made the these small 1:87 scale vehicles until around 1969.

HO 1:87 Vehicles consists of 25 sets that ran from 1955 to 1958. As of today, 1260-2 1:87 Twenty Four Models is the most valuable HO 1:87 Vehicles set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $9,857.
